Working with the population of Haverfordwest, M+R layered present-day signatures with those collected and embroidered in 1914 and 1923. Using the form of a five meter high hot air balloon the artwork reinvented the original textiles as a performance linking local heritage to aspirations. The balloon is a symbol of hope and explores the way in which history can inspire and inform the future.
