musson+retallick collaborated with artists Mary Branson and Debi Retallick to create Supernature, a vast sculptural light and sound installation for the 2012 Olympic torch relay event in Guildford. 12 columns of light, 6 metres high, were suspended with 1000 pieces of porcelain leaves, resin insects and chalk from fine wire lines.
A 12 channel nature inspired soundscape composed by Mat Clark was played into and around the piece, providing a theatrical experience as more than 7,000 visitors moved through the woods on the opening night.
